Indiana History Highlights! Most of our year will focus on Indiana during the past 200 years. We will read, write, create, discuss, make, tinker, and share our products with parents and our school. Using Indiana University's Center on Representative Government and the U.S. Library of Congress primary sources and documents online, students will gain knowledge about our state. We will explore how the White River has changed over 200 years. Field trips we will consider include: Indiana State Museum, Benjamin Harrison Homestead, State Capitol Building, Mounds State Park, Limberlost State Historic Site, Studebaker National Museum, and possible local trips.
